View from The Deep Roof: Heritage Open Day Tours
Join us on the 18th and 19th September for rooftop tours, running every 30 minutes between 10am-2pm (8 tours per day).
Step onto the roof of one of Hull’s most iconic attractions, The Deep. Enjoy an exclusive opportunity to take in miles of stunning views over the city of Hull and the Humber estuary. Discover more about The Deep’s history as one of the UK’s most successful Millennium Projects, including uncovering details about the aquarium’s unique architecture.
These tours are limited to 6 people at a time, so booking is essential.
Important Information:
Please note, this tour is only suitable for individuals over the age of 16.
The roof is only accessible via stairs (there are 27 steps to reach the roof door entrance).
Please meet a member of The Deep's Crew inside the Groups/Accessible entrance to The Deep no later than the start of your booked tour timeslot. They will be stood next to a signposted A-board.
If you are running later than your booked tour timeslot, there is no guarantee that you will be allowed access to the following rooftop tour timeslot, so please ensure you arrive promptly.
Parking is £4.50 for 5 hours. More details on Getting Here can be found on our website.
This is a free rooftop tour, and you are welcome to depart the building once the tour is completed. Access to the cafe and shop is welcome whilst you are with us. If you would like to visit the aquarium before or after your booked tour timeslot, please ensure you head to our Reception desk to purchase tickets.
Visitors must adhere to our Code of Conduct and T&Cs.
Please ensure you take care whilst on the rooftop and that personal belongings are kept in sight at all times. Visitors are advised to wear sensible footwear and weather-appropriate clothing.
